APPEARANCE:



Pale cream color, sometimes with a pink or brown hue. Steamed gives the wood a more golden tone. Flatsawn faces tend to be very plain, while quartersawn faces exhibit a silvery fleck pattern. Fine to medium texture, moderate luster and even grain


DURABILITY:



Beech is considered non-durable and is susceptible to insect attack

DRYING: Dries quickly. Large amount of shrinkage

Packing: one length per pallet.


Allowed deviation: Negative dimensional tolerance is allowed max 2% of the whole quantity.


Other conditions:


Discoloration from steaming and KD process cannot be counted as defect (like water spots, lining prints etc).
Any other defect cannot be a subject of quality claim if it’s not mentioned in GS or a contract.
The Buyers have to perform inspection of the Products before dispatch at least for first 3 deliveries. The inspection should be completed within 15 calendar days from the notification date of the Products readiness issued by the Sellers and send via e-mail to the Buyers otherwise the Products are considered accepted for shipment and cannot be claimed.
